About Kattgard
We started with great passion in 2017 with the firm conviction of watching over the Norwegian Forest cats breed, prior to that part of the team had experience as a cat rescuer, all of us animal lovers, with a common interest, cats, as well the owner and founder, decided to go into the next level, responsible cat breeding.
With maximum motivation and renewal in the team, Kattgard was born.
The Beggining
Early 2017
With great enthusiasm, the project began, planned between pages and notes, we attended the first cat breeding course taught by the Feline Club of Querétaro, which helped us to develop this dream of responsible breeding of purebred cats.

Como buenos amantes de los gatos existían varias razas que llamaban poderosamente nuestra atención y con lista en mano asistimos a la expo Medieval en Querétaro en Noviembre 2017, participando como parte del staff, permitiéndonos estar en contacto con varias razas y el Bosques de Noruega que ya estaba en nuestra lista, terminó por robar nuestro corazón.

Knocking on Doors
Now that we were clear about what we wanted, it was time to start knocking on doors. During the exhibition, Judge Alejandra Tursky from Argentina and Judge Kristina from Finland advised us on the breeders that they considered to be the best. So we started contacting the breeders.

Our Mentor
Being FiFe who had opened the doors to us, we decided to stay in this Federation and be an honorable member. Our teacher and guide Sakeena from Denmark was the one who entrusted us with our first male and happy for this new adventure Dr. Strangelove arrived in the kingdom of Kattgard.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de en ese 2018 participar en la World Winner que se llevó a cabo en Finlandia con Dr. Strangelove, así formando los cimientos y fraternidades con otros amigos criadores de Europa, donde también nuestro amado rey noruego obtuvo su primer certificado como campeón.

Doing it right!
At Kattgard we have distinguished ourselves by seeking that each of our kittens reaches the right families, and that the family sees our work through the affection, sociability, and joy that our babies transmit, not to omit the elegance and bearing that distinguishes the race. After much study of genealogical lines and working with breeder friends, we managed to grow the cattery with new beautiful members!
